How a reset works
The reset proves that you own the phone number on the account. The platform sends a one time code, the OTP, to that number. Once you type it in, you choose a new password. Your balance and history stay as they were.
Reset step by step
- Open the platform's login window and choose the forgot password option.
- Select your country code and type the mobile number you registered with.
- Ask for the OTP and type it in when the SMS arrives.
- Set a new password and confirm it.
- Login with the new password.
On some platforms the forgot password option is not on the login window. Mirana Club, for example, asks you to contact its support team with the phone number on the account if you don't see it.
Don't open a second account
It is tempting to register again with another number. Don't. A new account starts empty, and platforms expect one account per person, so a second one can cause problems later, for example when you withdraw.
If the reset fails
- No OTP. Our guide on an OTP that does not arrive lists the checks that fix it.
- Number not recognised. You may have registered with another number or another country code. Try the other numbers you use.
- Account locked. Too many wrong passwords can lock an account for a while. On BDG Game the lock lasts 15 minutes. Wait, then reset instead of guessing again.
- Still stuck. Contact customer support from inside the app and give them the phone number on the account. Never give anyone your password or the OTP.
Choosing the new password
- Use one you don't use anywhere else, so a leak on another site can't open this account.
- Make it at least 8 characters, with letters and numbers.
- Keep it in your phone's password manager rather than in a screenshot or a chat.
